And the New Year's Resolution continues!! I really would have liked to blog more to start off the year since I have sooooo many sessions that haven't been spotlighted yet but apparently the universe has other plans for me.  I got pnuemonia sometime shortly after Thanksgiving but didn't know I had it or go to the doctor until just before Christmas.  They loaded me up on meds and I improved and thought I was on my way to all better. Apparently, I wasn't! The pnuemonia came back and was worse just after the New Year.  I've been on the couch for going on two weeks now and my sweet, amazing, awesome Mom has been taking super great care of me, the kids, my hubby, cleaning my house and even doing my laundry.  She's amazing, thank you so much Mom!!  The doctor has me on all kinds of breathing medications and now a super powered antibiotic. It's working and I can tell I'm improving. I totally can't wait to feel better!! So, if you've sent me an email and I haven't answered or called you it's because I'm sick as a dog and haven't felt up to it yet.  I promise to respond to all emails early next week.  I'm gonna take the rest of the weekend to just rest and get better so I can get back to work!  Now, enough about me!

And so it begins ... my New Years Resolution to blog at least once a week! That means I have a LOT of catching up to do since I was such a horrible blogger in 2010! I also have a new fun little program for Session Spotlights! For each session that is featured on the blog, the client has the ability to earn a cute little gift when there are 20+ comments on their blog entry. So all you blog stalkers and friends and family of the client featured in the Session Spotlight better be sure to leave a comment!!

Ok, so it's not the New Year quite yet ... but I have a resolution that I REALLY REALLY need to make.  I will blog at least once a week in 2011!!  That will be a HUGE improvement since I think I only blogged oh, um, maybe 10 times (eep, was it even that many?) in 2010.  So, with that in mind.  I'm still taking the rest of the year off with the exception of a sweet little newborn session and I'll get right to blogging when the office reopens on January 4, 2011.  Have a safe and Happy New Year!

I have known this family for most of my life, and for their kids, all of their lives.  This wonderful, amazing family lived in the house next door to us when I moved to Boise in 1989.  They have been ever present, even in the absences where we moved, or their kids were away at school, or those breaks when everyone is just too busy.  But, regardless of the time that passes between visits it's as if the time had never passed and it's just normal and right.  There are many memories that my parents, sister and I shared with this family and as our families grew they have always been a part of us.  I'm thankful to have them in my life!

I think I may be almost as shocked as her mom that Miss "A" is 2 ALREADY!! I don't know how it happened so quickly but I do know how much I have truly enjoyed photographing her as she's grown. This session was so fun! "A" was just a little ball of energy and showed off for mom, dad, auntie and me. 

Fall has arrived and with that comes the gorgeous colors, the cooler temperatures and the perfect time for family portraits! In fact, October is officially Family Portrait Month.

To celebrate the colors of fall and to accomodate all of those clients who wish to participate in Family Portrait Month I have opened up a limited number of Fall Mini Sessions!!

The Fall Mini Session fee of $350 includes 20 minutes of shooting time, 24 beautiful press-printed custom holiday/note cards, and a $250 print credit. A selection of speciality items as well will also be available. After your mini-session, you will be shown a minimum of 8-10 images and will work with Tiffany to finalize your order and create your custom cards.

The Fall Mini Sessions will not be held on specific days this year because of how unpredicatable the weather has been. Instead, sessions will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis and 2 sessions will be scheduled on each mini session date.

This little mister was just too sweet! Mr. "V" was adorable and had the cutest little toothy grin.  I had such a fun time photographing this little guy. His Mama was so nice and sent me such a sweet email after she received thier order.  

Sorry folks but I haven't blogged in 2 months and 2 days! YIKES!!!! Ok, I PROMISE that new blog posts are on the way and there will be LOTS and LOTS of them because I really am THAT far behind on blogging.  Ok, so I will start with a new blog post tomorrow and post one every business day (Tuesday through Friday for me) for the next 2 weeks (at least).  Pinky swear ... 

Yay, I'm blogging again today! What can I say, I've been having a fabulous summer and not getting much blogging done. It's hard to believe that it's almost over and school starts in less than 2 weeks. I'm so backed up on Session Spotlights but I'll get caught up soon enough.

Yeah, um ... haha, I really stink at blogging this summer!!  What can I say, I'm having too much fun photographing cute little kiddos and playing with my own kids.  Sitting at the computer writing blog entries isn't at the top of my to do list on a daily basis, lol! But, YAY I am blogging today!! Today we have an adorable little guy who hasn't had his session spotlight on the blog yet.  He was so sweet and cuddly and slept like a champ!
