I will be attending the Professional Photographers of Idaho Annual Convention Sunday, March 2nd thru Tuesday, March 4th.  The convention is being held in Boise this year so I will only be reachable on a limited basis.  I will do my best to return calls and emails as I receive them but in the event that I can not get back to you right away, I will return all other calls and emails on Wednesday, March 5th.

Wow, I was just looking at my calendar and it appears that weekend sessions are now booking into April!  Spring is almost here and people are starting to notice the weather perking up.  I do have weekday sessions available in March still and only 2 weekends are available in April.

Call for you spring sessions now, because before you know it ... it will be summer!!! 

Eww, a stomach flu has hit my house.  I spent all day yesterday in bed and now today my kids and husband have it :(  Needless to say I may be a little slow returning calls and emails today and possibly tomorrow.  I hope none of you have to endure the stomach flu this season.  It's fast and furious and comes on out of nowhere.   

On a happier note, it is very springlike today.  I wish I could take the kids outside to play ... hopefully tomorrow will be great and everyone will feel well enough to play!

I went to a photography workshop in Salt Lake over the weekend and I'm back now.  It was a great time, but this was a no cameras workshop, all business, so I don't have any photos to share.  All emails and phone calls will be returned today and tomorrow. Thanks for your patience! 

Oh my, this little guy is so cute!  He was so good during the shoot and Mom and Dad were nice and relaxed too.  Just one really quickly, but I will have more of him next week!  Also, I just want to let everyone know I will be out of town this weekend so I will be returning calls and emails on Monday and Tuesday!  Have a wonderful weekend!  Enjoy.

Did you all watch the lunar eclipse tonight?  I think this is the first times I've ever actually seen a total lunar eclipse.  It was pretty cool!  I had my camera all set up on my tripod all evening long and ran back in and out of the house to take some shots.  Unfortunatly it's pretty hazy in Boise tonight (and it was all day long too) so I didn't get any really crisp, clean shots of the moon like I had hoped, but I still got some shots that I am happy with.      That's all for tonight!  I did photograph a super cute newborn today so I'll post a sneak peek of him tomorrow!  Enjoy. 

Since the ground hog saw his shadow and that means 6 more weeks of winter and 2 weeks have gone by already ... does that mean that it's 4 weeks until spring?!  Oh, I really hope so!  I am not really a winter person ... ok, I'm not a winter person at all.  I have been wearing flip flops for almost 2 weeks now in hopes that spring will magically arrive sooner.  Unfortunately, no such luck :(  But, spring is on the way and I am sooo happy about that!

I love spring, it's my favorite season.  The smell of the air, the early spring rain, the flowers in bloom, the birds chirping, the warm sunny days ... ahhhh!

I can't think of a better way to celebrate the coming of spring than to check out the new spring fashions and get ideas for the fun spring portrait sessions!Here is a nice coordinating ensemble for an entire family.  This look is relaxed, casual and natural.  It all coordinates with colors staying in the same tones and draws common greens and browns throughout.  Not everything is matchy matchy but it all looks nice together!  These outfits can be found at Old Navy and The Children's Place.
